Computer Science Department, established in September 2000, is an undergraduate teaching department in computer science. The four year B.Sc. program of the department is intended to produce graduates who understand the fundamental concepts of computer science and computer technology, and who have the skills and other mental tools required to acquire new technologies as they appear. In a field that changes as fast as information technology does, this is of paramount importance to avoid the need to retrain staff and managers frequently. The department also gives courses to Physics, Statistics and mathematics that leads them to minor in computer science.
